DutiesTutors will meet with their own student, 1 on 1, twice per week, to assist with reading, writing, numeracy, computers, and essential skills. They are asked to occasionally assist with fundraising.

ClientsAdults who have not completed grade 12. Also those who need extra help in a specific area or skill set.

We are constantly in need of tutors. The number changes with the number of students.
TrainingTraining is provided ; Scheduled training ; Tutor training workshops are offered at least once per year in Orillia. They are offered continuously in Barrie.
TransportationNear public transit ; All volunteers must provide their own transportation to the council office. Transportation will be provided for special events
CostThe tutor training workshop costs $15 and pays for your first year's membership. Membership is $15/year, but is optional.
