South SimcoeThe Collingwood Rowing Club is looking for safety boat drivers to help with rows all summer. We are flexible on scheduling and no commitment required. During rows, the safety boat is there to help with any incidents on the water ( boat tips, broken equipment), to help remind rowers to stay on the rowing course and monitor the general safety of the rowers. The safety boat will also occasionally be required to carry the coach between crews. All safety boat drivers will be trained by our facilities team and during rows will be in constant contact with either a coach or the practice captain. Time commitment is 1-2 hours per row. Row times are: 5:45 AM Monday, Wednesday 7:45AM Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all holidays 5:45PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday We also require extra help for the following seasonal events: Come Try Rowing: May 23rd, 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm (rain date May 24) Learn to Row: June 6th and 7th: 9am-12pm (rain date Jun 13th and 14th) Rows are dependent on weather. We do not go out if it is raining or too windy. Valid PCOC is required. If you do not have a PCOC and commit to 10 hours of service the Rowing Club will cover the cost of acquiring your PCOC. Drivers over the age of 18 will also require a vulnerable sector check.
- Monitor pace of play utilizing Tag Marshal technology alongside the Pro Shop Attendant and the Professional Staff in addition to oncourse observation Ensure golfers adhere to course rules and regulations including course care
- Provide high-quality customer service to golfers, addressing their needs and resolving issues as they may arise throughout the day
- Assist with the coordination and set up of golf carts, member/guests bags, on course signage and specialty stations as required for both daily play and tournaments
- Enforce course safety guidelines
- Assist Starter at first tee during busy times
- Weekends are the busiest times at the course. Some weekends and holidays are required
- Maintain communication with the golf shop staff and Golf Operations staff
- Provide excellent customer service to golfers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pride Collingwood is BACK! July 10th - 13th
Celebrate community, connection, and love at Pride Collingwood 2026. Together, we’re building a more inclusive South Georgian Bay.
This year, we are looking for over 60 volunteers to help us set-up and support the event. We are recruiting for roles ranging for each interest, skill, and ability.

Under adult supervision 2-4 hours per week, mowing greens, cleaning equipment, weeding, shop clean up, other small maintenance activities as required.
Providing assistance to special groups attending the club, such as library night, Cystic Fibrosis "Lawn Summer Nights" event.
Volunteering at the club is a win-win for students and the club. Students gain experience, training and they free up some of the club members who usually provide numerous hours of greens maintenance every season.
Due to limited hours per attending, works best if student is local to Beeton area.
Time off:
The club provides back-up/filing-in for students who are away for valid reasons, such as family vacation, illness, etc. Please keep the coordinator fully informed of absences in a timely manner.
Job duties include sorting food, stocking shelves and fundraising during food drives. Positions available to serve clients on Tuesdays. Other duties as assigned.
