Description
Description (Service) Family Resource Services works in partnership with families who have a child (school aged to 18 years old) with a developmental disability (IQ below 70) and/or a physical disability 
 
Family Resource Worker (FRW) develops: 
* plans with the family to identify the strengths and needs of the child/youth 
* assists in obtaining the necessary and available supports for family and their child based upon the family's goals 
* helps with transitions such as school or adult services 
* provides information regarding alternative funding sources applications 
* assists with information regarding school related issues 
* assists family and child’s community advocacy outreach by providing information services, education and consultation with other program and service providers 
 
Services provided through offices in Alliston, Collingwood, Midland and Orillia * All referrals must include a confirmation of diagnosis from a medical professional.

* Catulpa CSS employees will work remotely from locations outside of regular office sites
* Face-to-face meetings are curtailed and will be completed by telephone or virtual meeting
* Some CAPC programs are running virtually, contact your local Site Coordinator as listed below and someone from the team will return your call

* Catulpa Community Support Services remains open and all other services and programs remain in effect in a modified manner

Families in Alliston, Collingwood, Midland, Orillia and surrounding areas can access Family Resource Services through the local office or through the main office 705-733-3227 Ext 2335 Families in Barrie, Innisfil and Bradford areas can access these services through Simcoe Community Services, Family Services Program at 705-726-9082
