Emergency room care. Full time emergency doctors and general practitioners, nurses and other health professionals assess and treat life-threatening injuries or severe illness.

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital has launched an initiative that allows patients to book some emergency department visits in advance through ED Fast Track. Book a same-day or next-day arrival time to be assessed and treated for minor injuries such as minor lacerations, urinary tract infections (UTI's), skin infections and rashes, minor fractures, or coughs, colds and flu.

Eligibility	People who need medical care for serious illnesses and injuries. ED Fast Track is limited to non-acute illnesses and injuries.

Languages	Virtual interpreters for different languages available upon request.
Fees	Most services covered by OHIP. Fees list available for services not covered.
