Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Description (Service)

Programs to prevent drug use and to reduce harms associated with drug use

  • Participates in the Simcoe Muskoka Opioid Strategy

  • Increases awareness and educates individuals, communities and partners on the potential harms associated with drug use

  • Collaborates with community partners in the development of substance use prevention activities including providing education and addressing the root causes of substance use

  • Harm Reduction Services include

    • providing safe injecting and smoking kits, naloxone kits, disposal bins/receptacles

    • needle exchange programs

    • training staff of designated agencies/services in the use and distribution of Naloxone kits
