All-breed dog rescue based in Simcoe County

• Improving the quality of life for animals in need through foster care and adoption programs, comprehensive veterinary care, behavioural assessments and training, and public education.
• Precious Paws accepts all breeds, all sizes, and all ages of dogs from across Ontario. Most dogs come into care through transfer from other shelters or pounds, release from puppy mills, or through owner surrenders.
• dogs stay in private foster homes until adopted out into properly screened "forever" homes
• all dogs have full veterinary care prior to adoption, including full age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and deworming, wellness bloodwork and heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip
• "Loved at Home" is a program that aims to reduce the amount of dogs needing rescue by providing accessible veterinary care, dog food and supplies, and/or training support to families and communities in need.
