It takes a village to produce an incredible event so we need your super-star support in helping plan and execute flawless fundraising events! Our events are critical to our fundraising efforts and ensuring we continue to empower homeless women & children in our community.  
We are currently recruiting energetic, social-minded volunteers to support our many events throughout the year. 
Specific duties may include: Brainstorming awesome new event ideas with a designated committee, researching & booking event venues, coordinating event permits, sourcing and booking entertainment, procuring sponsorship and auction items, assisting with stewardship, selling tickets, poster distribution, and event promotion. Basically, ensuring our fundraisers are totally AWESOME!

Our one-on-one Support Volunteers are paired up with women in our transitional housing to provide support and advice as they work to find steady housing, careers, education, and more. Volunteers in this position meet with the Program Coordinator, the resident, and other volunteers monthly for a Circle of Support meeting to work through the needs of the resident. No particular experience is necessary, but confidentiality and a desire to help others is required! A police check is needed at no cost.

If you have any experience working with children we could use your help! 
As a compliment to the support given to the women in our programs Volunteer Child Support Workers would assist the Program Coordinator with providing child care. Child care activities are often planned and parents are usually nearby for support. This is a great opportunity for a high school student looking to fulfill community hours! Must be able to follow confidentiality guidelines. CPR and childcare experience are assets.
