Commitment Length One Time / Special Event ; Short Term (3 months or less) ; Medium Term (4 months to 1 year) ; Long Term ; We have various fundraising events that we need volunteers for just a day or longer term commitments are also welcomed.
Interaction Level One-on-one ; Small Group ; Depending on the type of volunteer work you do for the Centre, contact with members will vary.
Minimum Hours 3 / Day
Accessibility Fully Accessible - at offices ; Designated parking at entrance ; Wheelchair accessible automatic main entrance ; Wheelchair accessible washroom, assistance needed with door ; GBCSC strives to be recognized as a source of support, education and motivation for people living with cancer, their families and caregivers. Additional Requirements A police record check may be required for office volunteer positions. The Centre does not reimburse for costs associated with obtaining a police check.
