Duties | Two sites: Camphill Nottawasaga, near Angus and Camphill Sophia Creek in Barrie. Camphill Nottawasaga (Angus) offers programs in woodworking, pottery, candlemaking, and bakery/meal preparation. There are also opportunities to be involved in maple syrup production, working in the vegetable gardens and caring for livestock (Highland cows and horses). Camphill Sophia Creek (Barrie) offers work in the mosaic studio, meal preparation skills in the Cafe, music, recreational activities and cultural outings. Assistance with the retail store in downtown Barrie is also needed (111 Dunlop St E). Help is also needed with Bingo events and other special events such as our fairs. Both locations need volunteers to help with set-up, cash management and take-down at our Farmers Markets. Please email Sandra to place you in an opportunity that best suits your needs! | |||
