DutiesProcyon Wildlife Rehab is seeking an individual to join our Board of Directors as Treasurer. If you are an organized person with good attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records and meet deadlines, we have a great opportunity for you! The duties of this ongoing volunteer position are to receive, record and deposit incoming funds, pay invoices, track expenditures, file annual charity tax returns, prepare financial reports for the Board, maintain books of account with regular bank reconciliations; review and recommend financial policies and attend Board meetings. The requirements for this position are: access to a computer and email, experience using spreadsheet software (Excel), and ability to travel to Procyon’s rehab centre near Beeton, Ontario. Financial management or bookkeeping experience is an asset but not necessary.
