Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Description

Description (Service) Wildlife Centre located on 3,000 acres of Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodlands in Tay, Ontario. Visitors of all ages and abilities are encouraged to discover a variety of outdoor educational enviornmental programming, both drop-in and pre-registered, from guided walks to mocassin making workshops.

Facilities include:

  • 25 kms of cross country ski trails

  • Guided walks with a naturalist
  • Curriculumn-based education programs for school children

  • Winter Break, March Break, and Summer Daycamps
  • Sweetwater Maple Syrup Festival in March
  • Nature-themed workshops, i.e., moccasin making, nature photography, stone carving, wildlife photograpy, wilderness camping, etc.
