County of Simcoe has five Household Hazardous Waste facilities offering free, safe disposal of acceptable materials. A list of acceptable hazardous materials can be found at website posted above.

The County of Simcoe reserves the right to limit items and quantities. Materials must be delivered in containers that can be left behind. If products are not in their original container, please label to identify the material type. HHW materials are accepted at the following Waste Disposal Facilities:

Oro Waste Facility, 610 Old Barrie Road West, Township of Oro-Medonte
Nottawasaga Waste Facility, 5715 30-31 Sideroad, Township of Clearview
Bradford/West Gwillimbury Waste Facility, 2960 Line 12 Bradford
North Simcoe Waste Facility, 1700 Golf Link Road, Town of Midland
Tosorontio Waste Facility, 6815 Concession Road 4, Adjala-Tosorontio

The release of hazardous wastes into the environment is a growing environmental and social concern. With over 50,000 types of chemicals in commercial use in Canada, consumers play a critical role. We purchase chemically based household products and create a problem with them by disposing of the wastes from these products in inappropriate ways.
