Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Note: If you can't find a listing or would like to see a list of records by agency or category, email 211data@communityconnection.ca.

Description

Description (Service) AHIP represents all H.I.D. (Hearing Instrument Dispensers) and H.I.S. (Hearing Instrument Specialists) in Ontario. All members adhere to a strict code of ethics and by-laws designed to provide quality care to the hearing impaired of Ontario.
  • Collects, and sends used hearing aids to the Canadian Hearing Society to refurbish and send to less fortunate countries. AHIP will accept any make or model of used hearing aids, in any condition.
  • Student members and associate membership for individuals interested in the profession.
  • Members are registered providers with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Assistive Devices Program.
