Service: Care Partner Support Group - Evening Group

Description (Service) Confidential care partner support groups connect people (family & friends) who are supporting persons living with dementia * safe environment to share challenges and successes and realize you are not alone * talk to others who are going through similar experiences, increase understanding of dementia and develop and broaden coping strategies 
To enable care partners in attending the support group, a concurrent respite group for the person living with dementia, run by VON, is operated at the same time * registration is required to attend the respite group * call the Alzheimer Society to register

Hours Support Group: Third Tue of each month 7 pm-9 pm * meeting dates may change due to statutory holidays or summer breaks, contact the office for more information

Eligibility Family, friends and caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
Application Care Partner Support Group: No registration required, drop-in
