Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Note: If you can't find a listing or would like to see a list of records by agency or category, email 211data@communityconnection.ca.

Description

Description (Service) Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills
  • helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence
  • Computer Basics and Computers for Work classes for job seekers to gain computer skills needed to search for and secure work
  • Soft Skills Solutions sessions offered
  • classes are free of charge and are offered several times per year

Eligibility
  • Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum
  • must have facility in English
