Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Archive is:

a free, online museum that exists to preserve, protect and promote Barrie's history through digital media in the form of images, video, documents and audio
funded entirely by community donations, financial donations are used for web hosting, film transfer or other preservation activity, maintenance and support of the Archive

To build the archive:

volunteers with the Barrie Historical Archive borrow photos, slides, film and videos taken in Barrie
volunteers work with professionals to ensure borrowed property is cared for and digitized professionally
volunteers conduct and document research relevant to archival materials and projects
every contributor is recognized by name with each archival entry
