Suggesting Updates to Database Listings

When viewing the full details of a community program, you will see the option to 'Suggest Update' just below the name of the organization and program. Clicking this option will allow a user to submit feedback to Community Connection's team of data curators. Users can also select 'Suggest Record' on top menu bar to suggest a new listing.

Neighbourhood Outdoor Rink Volunteer Program

  • Volunteers in various neighbourhoods commit to maintaining the ice surface by scraping and flooding, and must allow all members of the community free and unlimited access to the rink,

Soccer Fields

Sandy Hollow Disc Golf Course

  • Disc golf, also known as frisbee golf, is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target;
  • Located in the Sandy Hollow area in the northern section of the Barrie landfill lands

Skateboard Parks

  • Queen's Park, 55 Ross St has an unsupervised Skateboard park, features a concrete pad with slopes, ramps, rails and barriers for skateboarding stunts, in-line skating and BMX riding
  • Lampman Lane Park , 59 Lampman Lane also has an outdoor skateboard park that is open weather permitting

Basketball, Tennis, Pickleball and Beach Volleyball Courts, Baseball and Football Fields
